Bringing Digital Inclusion to London
In August 2026, we launched London Technology 4 All, an initiative inspired by the success of Wakefield Technology 4 All and our belief that nobody should be left behind because they lack access to technology.
Across London, thousands of children, young people and families face digital exclusion every day. Whether it's completing homework, accessing online learning, applying for opportunities, or simply staying connected, technology has become an essential part of modern life.
Our aim is simple: to help ensure that technology is never a barrier to education, opportunity or independence. Through London Technology 4 All, we provide refurbished laptops, computers, and digital guidance to people who need it most.
We're proud to launch London Technology 4 All with the help of Safer London. Safer London works alongside children and young people affected by violence and exploitation, helping them build safer futures and access the support they need.
Technology alone cannot solve every challenge, but it can remove barriers. Access to a suitable device can help a young person continue their education, communicate with support services, build confidence and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. By working together, we hope to create more opportunities for young Londoners to thrive.
Focused on Children and Young People
While we want to help as many people as possible, our initial focus is on supporting children and young people who may not have access to the technology they need.

Building on What We've Learned
London Technology 4 All has grown from the success of Wakefield Technology 4 All, an initiative that has spent years helping children, families, charities and community organisations gain access to technology they otherwise would not have had.
Everything we've learned in Wakefield is helping shape our approach in London. We've developed practical processes for securely refurbishing devices, working with partner organisations, safeguarding recipients and ensuring equipment reaches the people who need it most.
At the same time, we recognise that London is very different to Wakefield. London's communities are larger, more diverse and face their own unique challenges. We are not looking to simply replicate what worked in Yorkshire. Instead, we're taking the experience, lessons learned and proven approach developed in Wakefield and adapting them to meet the needs of London's communities.
The location may be different, but the problem remains the same. Too many children, young people and families are still being held back because they lack access to technology.
Technology has become a basic requirement for education, employment and everyday life. Our goal is to help ensure that nobody is excluded from opportunities simply because they do not have the right equipment.
How You Can Help?
Like Wakefield Technology 4 All, London Technology 4 All relies on the generosity of businesses, organisations and individuals.
If your organisation is replacing laptops, please consider donating them rather than disposing of them. All suitable equipment is securely data-erased, professionally refurbished and redistributed to people who can benefit from it the most.
By extending the life of technology, we can reduce e-waste, support communities and create opportunities for those who need them.

London Technology 4 All is just beginning its journey. We know we cannot solve digital exclusion alone. Success will come through partnerships, supporters, donors, volunteers and organisations that share our belief that access to technology should never depend on circumstance.
What started in Wakefield has already demonstrated what can be achieved when communities come together to help one another.
Now, with the support of our partners and supporters, we're bringing that same spirit of practical, community-driven support to London.
